As you would be expecting from Meeru, we have ahead another fantastic month with many of you enjoying your much-deserved and long-awaited holidays here with us. Thank you to our guests who visited us last month and we are looking forward to welcoming our future holidaymakers soon.

How your experience in Meeru would likely to be, you can read from a well-travelled journalist who had recently visited us and wrote an article for an Austrian media outlet.

Many activities happened in May such as the Meeru Fun Run with our Meeru General Manager, Mother’s day and World Turtle day. It feels like it was just yesterday that we started the year, but we are now already entering the second half of 2021. All is set for the month of July Events and with exciting happenings in Meeru.

For the coming weeks, we will be featuring exclusive offers. Some special deals may include up to 25% discounts on our room rates, free round trip transfers, complimentary stay for children and many more (Please keep it a secret … 😃). Conditions may apply. One highlight in the next few weeks will be the “ UEFA EURO 2020 ” championship that is held from11th of June onwards and will be celebrated in Meeru with the grand final match on 11th of July.  All games will be broadcasted live at the comfort of your villa or you may like to join other guests for public viewing on our big screen at Dhoni Bar. Special promotional snacks and drinks are prepared exclusively for you, as you enjoying the matches.

Capture your special holiday memories with our new Meeru Family Bliss photography package and reminisce your time during your holiday here in Meeru. A 60 minutes photo session with our professional photographers as you explore the famous spots of Meeru while each snap becomes part of your adventure that you will be able to cherish forever.

As we live in a digital world where technology and sustainability build an important synapsis, our MeeruMobile Application offers various information’s and booking options. The application has been recently upgraded and the weather forecast plus the Velana International Airport flight details have now been included for your convenience with just a click.

As we continue to develop our Entertainment concept in Meeru, featuring our In House DJ’s on Monday and Thursday pre and post dinner times, we created “Tunes at Pavilion”. Our team will invite you for special Buddha bar style chill out times. Enjoy some of our exclusive Rum and Cognac collections with some traditional cigars or shishas while listening to the sensational sounds right at the beachfront.

Your Meeru family would like to say thank you for all great comments that our holidaymakers are sharing on social media including pictures taken during their retreat with us. It is heart-warming to read about all the amazing adventures and memories made in Meeru.

During our Easter festivities, our team created a week filled with events of enjoyment and activities truly loved by youngsters and adults… and the celebrations aren’t over yet.

If you are still looking to spend quality time with your loved ones, our Orthodox Easter events, at the beginning of May, are just around the corner. Enjoy some of our culinary highlights or explore our premium Champagne and Vodka promotion served around several outlets. Meeru Island Resort & Spa will also feature unique and sophisticated 8-course dinner menu served under the firmament of the southern hemisphere surrounded only by the sounds of the Indian Ocean.

May 1st is our special day to recognise in particular all commitment of our hard working Meeru team members. Those very helpful hands always around you, but never intrusive, those in charge for all the magic’s happening behind the scenes, which most of them you would never see, but without them Meeru would be different.

Our Mothers play a special role in all our life’s and designating only one special day for them a year is actually not enough to share all our appreciation. Meeru on 9^th May will make this day unique with time for family bonding, special dinners or even just some family photos shoots around the beautiful scenery of Meeru, which will create long lasting memories.

Meeru has a new Wedding Pavilion located at the Northern tip of the island at our Maalan beach area. A spectacular view while listening to the beat of the Bodu Beru drums and fresh petals of flower are complementing the ambience as you walk down the aisle.  An exceptional Maldivian way to start your path in life together with your partner or to renew your wedding vow.

We are welcoming our guests this Festive Season with great news and we are very excited to share you the latest updates.

For our guests who are 18 years and above, Maalan buffet restaurant will re-open its door to provide you with a wide array of food specially prepared by our Executive Chef and his team. Our splendid sunset-facing Uthuru bar, as well as the north games and entertainment rooms will also be available to spend relaxing hours after an exciting day on the beach. Enjoy and alleviate your soul and let our sophisticated services accomplish everything else for you.

We have taken intense time over these recent months and have given some fresh touches to many of our nearly 300 rooms, both with interior finishing as well as garden and outdoor arrangements. Just in time for our festive season, our 600 side Jacuzzi Beach Villas and 700 Jacuzzi Water Villas will be gradually released for your contentment and coziness.

Traveling with kids or teenagers? Yes, we have done some touch-ups here as well and the attendants are ready and awaiting the Festive Season for exciting fun, games and activities for our young in-house guests.

Christmas vibes are already in Meeru since 06th of December. We have opened our Festive Christmas market, with three stalls featuring different Christmas items for you to enjoy. Delicious food and drinks, gift items and entertainment is available for everyone from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. Mark your calendar and note down the dates that the Festive Christmas market is welcoming you. Dates can be viewed from our website, your IPTV in your room and even readily available via our mobile app. Let the Christmas spirit embrace you as you share the joy, love and happiness to your loved ones during your Meeru Festive holiday.

For our music lovers, our in-house Maldivian band will be serenading you with a variety of live jazz music in different occasions. They will captivate you with their great music; check out their schedules from the Festive Season Program.

During this Festive Season, various activities and events are prepared for you and booking is conveniently planned, just right at your fingertip.
