Meeru Island Resort & Spa Garners More Awards

Thanks to your continued support, Meeru Island Resort & Spa has received new accolades.

Once again, Meeru has been granted the HolidayCheck Award for Most Popular Hotel. Awarded to the top ten hotels in a region, the accolade recognises properties that are popular with holidaymakers. The selection process is based on over 950,000 traveller reviews and bestowed to hotels that have a minimum rating of 5.0 out of 6.0 and a recommendation rate of at least 90%. Meeru has a 98% recommendation rating and has been rated 5.8 out of 6. Having received the HolidayCheck Award for five years in a row, Meeru was awarded the HolidayCheck Gold Award 2019, the highest recognition from HolidayCheck.

Meeru also received the TUI Top Quality Award 2018 and the TUI Holly Award. The Top Quality is prestigious for top hotels that have performed and passed the TUI safety check, received at least 30 assessments from guest surveys and scored at least 8.7 points out of 10. The Holly Award is the symbol for first-class management, entrepreneurial creativity, good leadership and high safety standards. It is the highest accolade that can be awarded to a TUI hotel. A premium prize, it recognises excellent attention to detail, superb service and outstanding cuisine. We are very proud to receive these two awards that are a testament to the service and hospitality we offer our guests.

Start The New Year With Meeru Magic

Dear Friends,

Greetings from Meeru Island Resort & Spa!

As we begin the new year of 2019, I would like to thank all of our dear friends and guests of Meeru for your continued support and patronage.

Thanks to your support, especially in the form of outstanding reviews and feedback, Meeru has once again been awarded the TUI Holly Award 2019. This is the highest accolade that can be awarded to a hotel or resort by the worldwide TUI Group of travel companies.

This year, we will continue our subtle enhancements around the resort and evolve our offerings and continue our work on revitalising the coral reefs with our coral nursery and planting around the lagoon. These initiatives will ensure the beauty and comforts that have made Meeru so memorable for over 40 years will only get better.

In addition, we will have several new and exciting events planned throughout the year, and we look forward to sharing them with you through our monthly newsletters and our Meeru Facebook and Instagram channels.

Planning your first trip to the Maldives

Looking for the perfect honeymoon escape or seeking out some winter sun? The Maldives is the ideal destination and with good reason. Tourists, throughout the years, have made this tropical paradise with mesmerising blue waters and the liveliest marine life their go-to holiday destination. Research

The perfect vacation doesn’t magically happen. It takes a little planning. When planning your ideal getaway to the Maldives, before making your booking, think about the holiday and what you would like to do.
